Membership & Volunteers

Your membership in the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society marks a dedication to history and culture. The Society is a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization and contributions are tax deductible. Funds raised through membership go to the upkeep of the Society’s facilities and records.

They also finance activities hosted by the Society. TCBHGS membership privileges include a year’s use of the Society’s genealogical facilities as well as a subscription to the Society’s newsletter.

With your membership, also enjoy a complimentary hour-long introduction to genealogical research coordinated by our Preservation and Education Chair.

Members and volunteers enjoy outstanding benefits throughout the year.
